BIO

I work at the intersection of research and design to build ways for people to learn, connect, and thrive. From public health to urban design and maker education, I collaborate with partners across sectors on digital products, services, and physical space.

I received a doctoral degree in Educational Psychology and a master's degree in Learning, Design, and Technology from Stanford University and a bachelor’s degree in film from Northwestern University. I have lectured at the Stanford d.school [Hasso Plattner Institute of Design], and I currently consult as a design researcher in the Bay Area and beyond.

I've had the pleasure of working with the Moore Foundation, Facebook, Google, UCLA Sci | Art, Kaiser Family Foundation, DKT International, and the Knight Foundation, and, through my work with the d.school and Designing Insights, I have facilitated workshops with the Magic Johnson Foundation, SAP, Raikes Foundation, The Getty, Denver Museum of Nature & Science, Indianapolis Museum of Art, and SFMOMA.
